Rewa is alternative name for river Narmada This Quaint City is nestled in laps of nature, serene waterfalls & greenery spread across.What's unique about Rewa is its home to world's 1st White Tiger Sanctuary located in tiny village Mukundpur, 20 km from Rewa, the result of gene mutation of Royal Bengal Tiger.
White Tiger was caught by Maharaja Martand Singh of Rewa on May 27,1951 from Sidhi Distt Bargadi Forest & brought to Govindarh Palace from where it Escaped Very Next day & again found in Mukundpur 26 km from Rewa. 'Mohan' remained in Rewa for 20 Yrs & its progenies spread to the World !
